Leggings? Appropriate or not? I can't decide...
What are your thoughts? So, I'm almost 30. I don't have the perfect body but I like to layer leggings with a long blouse/tunic. A sweet co-worker of mine (who is 10 years younger than me) admitted that leggings are for teenagers and that's it. I love her honesty. But I also like leggings. And my other concern is, are leggings too revealing? Too "Naughty Sandy" from Grease? Do tell.

I still wear leggings :). They are one of my favorite things to wear. I think as long as the shirt is long enough... you're good. 30 is not too old!!! If you're not comfortable with the tunic shirts, where a longer summer dress kinda of top. You work those leggings girl!
You should tell her that she's NOT your mother!!! If you wanna wear leggings and YOU feel that they're modest enough - GO FOR IT!!!!
Besides, you don't look like a 30-year old :)

p.s. However, i do NOT think that leggings under a mini-skirt make wearing a mini-skirt modest!!! :) Just my opinion....
byu dress code is no leggings. I think they are ok in a casual setting under an already knee length dress. not ok for church. as for age, I'd go with the no mini-skirts after 35 rule. so no leggings after 35.
LOVE em! And the best thing about them is black can slim anyone. Now, white would be different since you can basically see right through them. But my vote is they are fine, rock them with a longer tunic = perfect
I think it's fine as long as you can't see through them or wear them to church because your ress is too short. That drives me nuts. But other than that I don't think there is an age range for leggins or they wouldn't make them in your size. ;)
Every single time I see you wear leggings I always wish I had the body to pull it off! It is definitely NOT just for teens. You look fabulous and I've never once thought they were too "young" for you!
For the record, I agree that you shouldn't wear leggings under a mini-skirt to church. :)
I think they're totally ok, as long as the bum is covered with something else. And I'd say that to anyone of ANY age with ANY body type.
Here's a question though...do you think they're cool to wear under a dress/skirt to church? I don't know about that one...
When David was at BYU, they posted something that said if you were wearing a mini skirt with leggings, you were still against dress code :). I guess it depends on how long your tunic or skirt is. If you have the legs for the leggings, who cares? Leggings on me would not be pretty.
